The Sleepy Hollow Experience
This was a project for my Interactive Entertainment class where we had to choose an existing site lacking attendance and add an interactive experience to it. I chose Colonial Williamsburg because of my familiarity with it. I love the site and believe it could bring in even more guests each year with a focus on learning through fun storytelling. Another twist to the project was the fact that we had to pick a story in the public domain to base it off of. I chose The Legend of Sleepy Hollow because of its similar time period.
Throughout the quarter I worked on brainstorming potential experiences I could add and settled on an interactive scavenger hunt as well as a shopping and dining location that would be themed to the story during the Halloween season.
