ABOUT ME

HOW I GOT STARTED

Growing up, I always loved watching movies. It was so fascinating to me how a team of people, all with different skills, could create seamless environments that seemed to pull you into their own universe. I had always been drawing, but in order to up my Halloween game I started making costumes and props when I was about ten. I then learned more about the moviemaking process, specifically practical effects and special effects makeup, which require a good deal of sculpture. So, I started sculpting in order to broaden my portfolio. In 2018 I attended my first Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Orlando. I was blown away. From then on, I knew I had to be a part of making these kinds of experiences for people.

WHERE I WANT TO GO

Currently, I am a student at Savannah College of Art and Design studying Production Design with a concentration in Themed Entertainment. I am fortunate enough to be studying under a full tuition merit based scholarship and plan on graduating in 2024. I would enjoy working in the creative industry, and my goal is to be employed doing something I like. Creating set pieces, environments, props, or costumes for movies, TV, or theme parks would be a dream come true. My absolute dream job would be to work on creating the experiences for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, but I would be happy doing anything remotely creative.

I am interested in the following fields:

PRODUCTION/SET DESIGN

THEME PARK ENTERTAINMENT

PROPS

COSTUME DESIGN

PRACTICAL EFFECTS

GRAPHIC DESIGN/BRANDING
